How to use Anchor Text – Clickable Words for SEO

Anchor-textWhen we place a link for a word, that word is known as the Anchor Text.
For example if I am linking to a Rapidshare Download page using the word ‘Click here to Download’, here ‘Click here to Download‘ is the anchor text. Thus It is very important that we must learn more about Anchor text and how they will effect our link building.
Anchor Text is a useful signal to help search engines and users alike to understand your content. So, First of all we must know that Clickable words or Anchor Text will effect your blog in Search Engine Optimization. Today my article is all about Anchor text.

Anchor Text will become an important fact when we consider Internal Linking (linking between your pages). Here Google catches every Anchor words, descriptions etc. of a page. So it is important that we are describing a link powerfully using Stunning Anchor Text.

Creating a good Anchor Text

For example, if you have a Home Improvement Blog and you have videos to accompany the textual content, a not-very-optimal way of linking would be:

To see all our Home Improvement videos, click here for the entire listing.

Anyway, instead of the option “click here,” you could write the anchor text more descriptively as:

Feel free to browse all of our Home Improvement videos.

So Make use of this Technique for Improving your Linking power and SEO.
