Will More Widgets Make Your Blog Looks Bad?

Submitted by Jijo Sunny on November 21, 2009 – 12:13 pmOne Comment

My answer is YES if the widgets are useless. In my opinion, avoid using bad widgets even though it is benefiting you. For example, there are a lot’s of hit counters available for blogs. We all know that placing a hitcounter makes a blog looks unprofessional. In the same case you can use Hidden counters for showing the stats.

The same thing happens when you see an attractive widget in someone’s blog. Most of the bloggers will  try to copy it to your blog if it is looking attractive. My opinion is to use only Important widgets for your blog.

Try making your blog fancy by pasting some glittering substances in your blog. Try some useful widgets. For example, if your blog is about personality development, it will be great if you have a ‘Famous Quotes’ Widget in your Sidebar. Widgets must be related to your blog and should be useful to you and your readers.

If I am visiting a Blog first thing I focus is the blog title, then the widgets and after all the Content. It means, the first sight of a Blog rates its perfectness. If the blog is looking dull with bad advertisements and Pop-ups I will surely quit that blog with no time. Many readers like me has the same thought. It may cause harm to your daily readership.

Hope you’ll take care about your widgets after reading this article.
