Top Wordpress Widgets & Plugins You Must Have

The look of a blog is highly related to it’s sidebar widgets and Perfection of a Blog to Plugins. Thus Useful and beautiful widgets and Plugins will make your blog Perfect. In this post I will introduce you some most important Must Have plugins that a Wordpress blog must have.

1. All in One SEO Pack

This is one of my favorite plugin and is used by more than Thousands of blogs. The plugin will make your blog highly SEO Optimized in all aspects. It will change the Title of your blog pages, posts, Main page etc. according to our wish! Moreover the plugin will add an option to add meta title, keywords and meta description. This will give your blog more SERP.

2. Contextual Related Posts

This widget will allow you to add a list of related posts below the post or in the sidebar. This will make the blog reader to have a look at other related posts and the reader will remain in your blog for a long time!

3. Sociable

This Plugin will automatically add link on your posts, pages and RSS feed to your favorite social bookmarking sites. The plugin gives you a chance to select the needed bookmarking site from a huge list of sites (Twitter, Stumbleupon, Digg, Facebook, Yahoo Buzz etc..)

4. Adsense Manager

I think this is the most powerful and easy adsense integrator for wordpress. We can add other Javascript Objects other than Google ad using this plugin which makes this far different from other plugins.

5. My AdManager

The plugin Manages 125×125 ads automatically. It also has the ability to add new ads using Paypal Payment. The ad will appear instantly after the successfull payment. We can add a specific  number of 125×125 ad slots and there is an option to insert home ads(our internal ads).

6. FollowMe

WP FollowMe is a wordpress plugin that allow you to add a twitter Follow me badge on your wordpress blog.

7. Google XML Sitemaps

This plugin will generate a special XML sitemap which will help search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo and Ask.com to better index your blog. With such a sitemap, it’s much easier for the crawlers to see the complete structure of your site and retrieve it more efficiently. The plugin supports all kinds of WordPress generated pages as well as custom URLs. Additionally it notifies all major search engines every time you create a post about the new content.

8. StatPress

The first real-time plugin dedicated to the management of statistics about blog visits. It collects information about visitors, spiders, search keywords, feeds, browsers etc.

Once the plugin StatPress has been activated it immediately starts to collect statistics information. Using StatPress you could spy your visitors while they are surfing your blog or check which are the preferred pages, posts and categories. In the Dashboard menu you will find the StatPress page where you could look up the statistics (overview or detailed). StatPress also includes a widget one can possibly add to a sidebar (or easy PHP code if you can’t use widgets!).

Wordpress Popular Posts is a sidebar widget that displays the most popular posts on your blog with your own formatting.
